Nice Little Find!

Was helping a friend clear out a house he brought and we were going through the attic when I came across this old gem...Ok its no cherry MX but its a mechanical keyboard all the same. My mate isn't much into computers so he said keep it.

 

Noticed the number 4 key is sporting a Euro symbol, was kinda odd af first as it says the date of 1990 on the back but after digging deeper in the box I found the original number 4 that looked like it was rip out with a pliers. Anyway enough rambling here is a pic.

At my school we also have some old Cherry MX keyboards. At some point I just took a key of and was like... "wait, I know this switch", looked at the back and on the sticker there was indeed a Cherry symbol.

I just don't know anymore which keyboard it exactly was.

Well yea you could just get a new keyboard. But the point is to have a nice working keyboard in the original keyboard. 

Very true I might stick with the Black Alps for now but I would love to funk it up abit with new key caps but the fitting is different from cherry?

I don't know. But mods will have to take place.
