Im gonna get hate for this but why is the whole master race thing such a big deal. I feel like one of the only people that just doesnt care. Yes each way to play has pros and cons, but Im just someone who enjoys video games, whether its on a original nokia phone or a $4000 gaming PC. What ever happened to just having a good time playing games.

i still think pc is the supperior platform, i just dont like the fighting anymore

sure you guys can have your console, but really there are more people coming to pc than there are console

 

i play games where they are best, and right now the games i play are best on pc, but when i played cod it was better on xbox, and destiny was better on ps4 ( i want a ps4, i just dont have the money to fork over for one)

then I got a good deal on a I5+mobo, and Im building a I5/hd7950 system using old parts for sub 300$. Still kinda want a xbox. but I can build that. so torn

actually the price thing is more in pcs favor than ever. even if you get a xbox you still need a cheap laptop or desktop for homework, why not have a pc that will ber great at both, plus you can get a key for $15 on reddit

I got a deal on a Pentium G3258 and a motherboard back when it came out, and I'd really like to put it together into something. I'd reckon I can get a 270X for $85, my cousin's old PSU for $20 and a new case for $50 to resurrect it.

Im getting a ultrabook for college, because need something light and portable with decent power. looking at the xps 13. still need something to game on though occasionally.

I had my own system since before I could read, but my first serious build was from 2012, I got a I5 3570K with the same motherboard, but not X. 8 gigs of ram, but get this, I knew nothing of hardware, and got a hd 6670. LOL. 

running a 7950/7970 crossfire now. Got a great deal, I actually made 40$ trading up cards

yes, lets say you spend 400$ on a ps4 (its 450$ in canada) right away you need to spend 50$ for live, then you need a tv, that is far more expensive than a monitor( lets say $200 for the tv)

next you need a decent laptop, lets say arround 400$, cause that is decent

right there, you are at $1000, and you can build a killer rig for that money

Any word on microsoft allowing mouse/keyboard to be used for inputs when streaming xbone to pc in windows 10? If they pull this off correctly, people should buy xbones in masses.

When people keep taking about the Master Race thing with PC and consoles it gets boring very quickly but for me anyway it get more boring when you get people like Total Biscuit talking about how great the PC is over consoles and then saying PC Master Race -  I just have to end that with HAIL HYDRA! in a sarcastic way, it's so asinine.

Not sure, I don't believe so. I'd bet there will be some sort of hack or mod for that though, knowing the PC community and their tendency to tinker.

He's now faster than everyone else in a race (a pc) and he has to rub it in. Basically makes him look like an idiot/asshole

While everyone else is just enjoying being able to drive & enjoy it (pc/console/handheld)

 

So basically. The whole pcmasterace is a bunch of idiots who think they are better than everyone else and forget that it's all about the experience.

I can have more fun on a console with friends than I can on my $6000 gaming computer.
