Just ordered some new audio gear

So my birthday is soon so My mother decided to buy me somthing,

I needed a new microphone as my crappy one had broken.

I bought the following things:

Chord CCU1 Usb condenser microphone (includes shock mount) £59

Samson SAMD5 Desktop mic stand £19

Samson SAPS01 Studio quality Pop filter £13

its my first pricey audio investment to me because I usually just spend £15 on A headset or mic,

In the future I would love to invest more into a mixer and a phantom powered microphone (not usb)

and buy some awesome speakers too.

What do you guys think, for a first setup just under £100?

many reviews say its better than the blue yeti, blue yeti is a good mic but its just overpriced. I'll post a video in a week or so when I have it and you can share your opinions on the quality

I have just received the mic stand, its very heavy so it shouldn't tip over when A shock mount and pop filter is on it, I should be getting the pop filter and the mic tomorrow or the next day, I will make a video then :)

That would probably be dirty usb power and not interference from the open pc.

unless you happen to use your wireless router for a mic stand, but I doubt that would be the case.

Will work for electronic components and parts
