The i5 isn't that much slower in rendering and such anyway, if your NOT making money from content creation, then obviously Gaming is your focus...

 

The i5 ALL OVER, Hands down... no comparison should be made anyway, their different architectures, but for USAGE CASES...i5 will smash it in most things...

What is cool about intel cpus is that if the games are really unoptimized and lossly threaded you will still breeze trough them.

You dont depend on dev optimization.

i5-4460, hands down, no contest...unless you are building a purely workstation machine then the FX-8320 (not FX-8350!!! overclock the CPU by yourself they are all the same)

The I5 Is what i would get. The 7850k apu isnt bad either. I only say that because i just built one with a cheap asus motherboard. Runs great and the whole build was around 370 bucks. It lets me play a shit ton of games without any issues at all. I think you could budget more tho and get a better processor. That wasnt my goal at the time tho.

i5 4460 because:

1. it performs a lot better than an FX 8350 in almost all tasks (only a couple of exceptions)

2. Its cheaper than an FX 8350 for you, and you won't need to spend a lot of money on a decent motherboard and cooling for the FX 8350 as well, making it even more of a cheaper option.

For what purpose?

 

If it's a laptop or extreme budget system, get the APU.

 

 

if it's a budget workstation/gaming build, get the 8350.

 

It's a dedicated gaming build, get the i5.

 

 

Since you're in the Phillipines, I would suggest the APU if you're not going to buy a dedicated GPU, and if you are then go with the i5.

after checking, the difference is not that much (in here)..pricing do depend on where he could buy them..was the 8350 that tad bit cheaper than the i5?
