will my AMD FX-4100 bottleneck my 760??

I don't think it will. Maybe a little but nothing too drastic. Games are so GPU intensive anyways.

I don't think so but to be safe i would get a much faster CPU. Look online for benchmarks and see what the FX-4100 is capable of.

Yes it will.

although that is a titan you can tell that even a 8350 can bottleneck. You have a much worse processor than an 8350 so i do believe that you will experience bottlenecking.

It's not a titan. it's the 2nd generation for the  660 ti, almost same performance as a 660 ti maybe a 10 fps increase in most games...

Try it and see, if it does then its easy to upgrade to a Piledriver CPU like a FX6300 or an 8 core if you can afford it, and no need to do a reinstall. so just see how it goes first.

got to love Asus components

Your processor will not significantly bottleneck the GPU, I'm not saying iw won't bottleneck it, aut not so much you need to upgrade just now, just OC the sucker as far as it will go. This means there's no point in overclocking your 760, as you won't be experiencing any percieveable improvements. If you must overclock it, and you expect big improvement by doing so, you will have to upgrade your CPU.

But then again, I might be wrong.

What's your res?

Just OC your CPU to 4.2 or 4.4ghz to eliminate bottleneck.

Just OC your CPU to 4.2 or 4.4ghz to eliminate bottleneck.

And then find out what else "bottlenecks" your system and change that and then the next and continue ad infinitum. Every system has a component that ultimately limits its performance that is just a fact of life
