holy shit this game looks so good. i dont get hyped for video games anymore except for gta 5. then i see the "imagine star citizen" trailer and it feels like it will be the AWESOME. IM SO HYPED AND GLAD t hat i built a pc for this thing,

 

watch this awesome trailer. i have learned to not get hyped from trailers but this is an exception. 

 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

I got the full game with a ship for 20$ ha ha ha. Now I'm waiting for the FPS module and their full game, I'm not a fan of space fighting.

its basically going to be eve, but with graphics and an easy learning curve, and more action.

Well it's going to be Freelancer like, not EvE. Why do people keep saying it's like EvE? It's NOTHING like EvE except that it's also in space.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

I've been lowering my expectations ever since I bought the Idris, because I don't want to flip the most epic rage of my life if it sucks.

 

But secretely I'm super hyped.

 

 

The dubstep killed it for me...

 

but im still quite interested in the game 

 
It's a fan-made trailer based on official videos, I don't think CIG would ever use dubstep themselves. Though they promoted the video.

It really doesn't look like it's going to be that good of a game.

It has good graphics, but otherwise it just looks like an average space game.

 

I really hope Elite:Dangerous keeps getting deeper, because it's already a really good game

It looks great, except for that male face model...   The female face model/textures/details looked fine, but of course when it comes to crafting the male face it looks like a grown up version of that kid from king of the hill.

This is what we get when the main devs are straight neckbeards.  Nobody cares about male looks.

Tooo bad they will probably never finish it.

according to their schedule, the whole game should be in a playable alpha phase before the end of the year, and with the single player portion released before december but delays can still happen though, i haven't played the released modules because i need to upgrade my hardware but when i do i will be all over it

I really wish people would stop downing on this game.

 

 

At least they're trying to push PC gaming to the next level, to the limits of what current machines can actually handle.

 

Compared with most other game developers who purposefully limit their own imaginations in order to make as much money as they can with as little effort and imagination as possible. I'm so sick of the "well we're limited in what we can do by the average gaming PC and consoles" crap we get. I want a game that says "ok, time for me to upgrade to that I7 and a gtx980". I want something truly amazeballs and mind blowing.

 

Stagnate and die, or shoot for the stars mother fuckers.

You might want to look into it a bit more than you seem to have done.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

i'd say put a snipars face instead of a human look

enemies should be spooky scary skeletons with alien costumes
