Logitech G27 and Glass Desk!

Hey guys, I am just thinking of getting a Logitech G27 wheel, every since I got my new PC I have been wanting to play iRacing so much! They have a free 3 month subscription at the moment anyway here is the desk, the top is made out of glass so my worry is that the glass will shatter due to vibrations from the wheel - http://www.superamart.com.au/rapid-48559/ I have 2 monitors on my desk that are not at all heavy and on the other side I have a 32" TV

Just put some padding on the wheel clamping mechanism then you should be ok i think.

My desk is similar to that and the only problem I had was that the feet couldn't properly grip the desk because the inside corner where you sit isn't curved, Aside from that you should be fine.

Pad the surface where the wheel will be mounted, like on a piece of fabric or something.

If you set the FFB all the way up it will break the glass no doubt about it. 

 

I would pad the heck out of the desk or replace the top glass part with plywood or something...

I wouldnt do it. ffb can be quite intense in some games.
