Intel doesn't make APUs. The term was even coined by amd. Intel's iris pro is pretty dank though and not that far behind amd's integrated graphics.

as far as i know the old iris pro graphocs could do bf4 at medium 720p 30fps or so and amd did the same at 60fps

I dont need to read any of this to know amds apus will not lass as long on baterry as broadwell. And performancewise (cpu) brodwell should win aswell.

Just think of this...if Intel remains the only desktop CPUs manufacturer...then this can be called more or less..monopoly...good luck spending 1000$ for a future i5, just because intel says it's worth it and there's nobody to compete with that.

 

Let AMD be...they might not be competitive, but the fact that they're on the market prevents Intel from asking more money for their products.
