But we all know it will be super expensive so i kinda still hope the 380x 399(x) are good or at least on par to drive a little competition as thats been missing for a while now....

I wonder if Nvidia will rebadge the 980 as the 1070 or whatever it will be called. If not, I hope it will have equivalent performance or better. I also want to see what AMD has under their sleeve. It looks like this upcoming GPU war will pretty chaotic.

I can see this happening since theres a big gap between 980 and new titan ($1300+)

So TI would make sense.

imo all this is is the base for titan/next gen workstation cards.

I doubt it'll be translated into a 980Ti or whatever.

It's always this way.

The GTX670 was faster than the GTX580 and the GTX570 was faster than the GTX480.

then you are even more wrong. x80 will always be 500$, x70 will be 300-350, titan will be 1k, and a fictional x80ti (that people expect just because it happened once, to now happen forever) will be 650-700$

because 770 GPU was higher clocked and it's memory was 1 GHZ higher then 680s. but if you put them on same frequency they are THE same CARD!
