In search of games.

SMR

Hi guys,

I recently (automn) changed my rig to something good. 4690k, 8gb RAM, R9 280.

I've been trying some games my coworkers told me about, like CS:GO, Firefall, and some others that I don't even remember cause I found them "meh".

Currently I have these installed.

Dirt3

Far cry 3

Minecraft

Diablo 3

Team Fortess 2

Firefall

DarkSider 1/2

Need for Speed (the older ones)

Skyrim (OF COURSE)

I'm looking foward to GTA V, say whatever you wan't I will buy it anyway.

I'm not pro gamer, far from that and I suck at FPS, but I like 'em.

I search games on steam every now and then but I don't have the patience to watch every gameplay video/reviews for games that I never heard of... I'm in search of something new, that play on a keyboard OR a controller.

So what are you playing right now ? What did you discover lately ?

Best regards  :)

I found TitanFall pretty cool. Really enjoyed it. I hope to continue playing it again soon when work calms down a bit.

Bioshock (I like Infinite)

Any older Elder Scrolls game (Oblivion or Morrowind, with some mods)

I liked Mirror's Edge.

Sonic Generations is a blast to play, if you have a gamepad (I use a PS3 controller)

Possibly Fallout, But I still have to play that.

Right now I am playing BIT.TRIP. RUNNER, God Mode, Crysis Warhead, and Dragon Age Origins.  To be honest I could recommend all of those games to you for various reasons.  I find them all very enjoyable.  What I recommend you doing despite saying you won't do it is to put some time and effort into seeing what is on sale and what people are playing especially if you like multiplayer games.  No sense buying something with a dead MPer community.  God Mode that I play would be an example of that but I found a small group of players to play with on Steam from time to time now so I am cool with that purchase and also soloing content at times is fun anyway.  Also you mention looking at Steam but have you looked elsewhere for good gaming deals?  There are many places besides Steam to look for games.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

ah well there was a few like 6 months after 4 came out but i havnt checked since im assuming so since alot of people prefer bf3 of 4 and/or thought bf4 wasnt a new game or worth money. battlefield hardline beta should be out soon and hopefully its going to be open beta so you could play that for free while its running i played the early beta and it felt exactly like bf3 and bf4 just with different skins.

@SMR my latest and most suprising discovery was Battlefield 4 and for 10 dollars (£/€7) u cant go wrong. Jets, tanks, helis, boats etc.

I also play Arma 3 battle royale but that gets old too quick as u do one thing all over again :( still a good game though.

The Crew is decent open world racer, not woorth the pricetag. Even for half price on g2a i had hard time spending my money.

Its very subjective (hit or miss).
