2017 Ford GT

the latest GT uses a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 making over 600 horsepower. Designed to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the car will go into production late next year for sale in "select global markets" — and needless to say, it won't be cheap.

It actually looks good,  and looks like the V6 is not dead, but damn, that's a thick door. And plus, it's a scissor door. Not cool. The past 2 generations had a door protruding into the roof.

The supercars nowadays are being ruined with electricity, although for some, the electricity does provide more power, as with the P1.

Damn those doors are really thicker than you'd expect them to. 

One of the downsides of a carbon fiber monocoque is how think  the chassis has to be around the doors to maintain rigidity.
