I currently am using the Chrome client on a few workstations and servers. They need a LOT of WU's on this format completed to actually make a contribution as they are so small, hence the little point award. Also helps them figure out how to better optimize them as more are completed. So, I am sacrificing points in order to get a LOT of these little guys done.

I have them spread-over 4 machines, an x79 based, x58 based, and 2 core 2 Duo systems. As for cash I have a pretty well paying job and no dependents, I don't spend a significant portion on my income on this. I think folding on laptops is a bad idea anyway, they are just not equipped to deal with the excess heat.  Build your rig, then get to it.

Nice to know how the god like setup works.

 

I wasn't planning to fold using a laptop anyway, when all the parts for the new rig arrives, I'll definitely try to start folding, the rig should be able to get up and running some time in Feb depending on how quickly I can get parts shipped from the US over to here.

I would love to see 3 titans, 3 295x2's!!!

 

Unfortunately I haven't been folding lately, because the Australian summer is so hot and humid, I am afraid that my 280x and i5 will explode :P e.g. my 280x idles at 50 degrees Celsius from around 10am-5pm

I'll try to get some but keep your expectations very low, My building skills are not impressive at all, I don't even have the 295x2 rads mounted, they are just hanging out the side.  I hear you on the temperature front, I'm moving to Houston Texas in 5 months, and I think that my folding will come to a screeching halt when that happens.
