The game is called Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

 

It's in early alpha, so it's far from perfect, but DAMN!!!  :o

 

The forest and foliage is just amazing. Consoles, bow down to REAL next-gen video game graphics that only PC can handle. :P

I heard of this game so long ago and haven't followed whats going on with it much, looks pretty nice, but still needs some work.

Yeah, some of the textures need work and I'm sure some of them are "place holders" until they get updated.

 

But I've never seen a game (not even skyrim with mods) that could re-create the environment (as a whole) as realistically as this. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter comes close, but this is better IMO. Looks just like the fields and forests around near where I live. They've done an amazing job so far.

They did make: £1,106,371/$1,673,165 on kickstarter.... I'm hoping it would be incredible with that amount of money going into that game. Shovel Knight an absolutely great game only made: $311,502 so it should be amazing. I'm not too sure that my measly 660ti would run this game tho.

I'm really excited for this game.   the graphics are amazing.. it looks better than anything I've seen before and the medieval rpg thing should be really cool

It looks way too washed out... like a bad ENB preset.

 

Other than that, it does look quite nice, though I rate games on their gameplay more than their graphics. The original Crysis is still a very good looking game, but I still think it was a pretty bad game overall. The story and gameplay were pretty boring and gneric, and the AI wasn't the greatest.

 

At any rate... I'll judge this game when I play it.

@OP I've been following this game for a while, looks quite good and I am looking forward to playing it when it's done. However, I think Bannerlords looks better (:

Wasn't this the game that Chris Roberts was hyping last year in a few of his Star Citizen videos? I believe Warhorse studios is helping Roberts with the character creation system in Star Citizen.

I believe CR has mentioned it before. They're both using Cryengine and have similar goals (making it work with huge environments and maps) so I wouldn't be surprised if they help each other out.

Probably going to be one of those games that just "looks pretty", though. 

 

Yeah. It's really too early for me to call it as that now... having not even played it... but "CryEngine" is a name synonymous with "all we care about is pretty graphics" to me.

 

I mean, Homefront, all of the Crysis games (with the exception of maybe 3), Ryse, the original Far Cry, Warface... all very underwhelming games (in my opinion), that likely only achieved the success they did because they're "pretty".

 

The exceptions seem to be Evolve, and maybe Star Citizen. Of course, this one could surprise us... who knows? I just don't put much stock in anything when the CryEngine comes into play.

Motion-blur on the video is making me sick, but other than that, great looking game.  Though, I really wished more games would display that whole tessellated world thing that we were advertised was going to happen like 5 fuckin years ago, but :/.  I mean 5 years ago Heaven came out :)
