for me in terms of the performance the 970 is better. and the 50$ difference would be worth it.

I know that the 970 is better but i'm worried about the zotac cooler, it doesn't look very strong and can't handle much oc.

The 970 is cooler, quieter, less power hungry at stock speeds, overclocks better, and can handle most new games downright better.

it's not very strong but it's defenetly good enough to keep a GTX970 cool enough even if you push some sliders in afterburner...so long as you don't custom bios the card in order to overvolt it the open air cooler on the zotac card is way good.

Ok, thanks. From what i understand this zotac is a custom board, is there any waterblock for it?

i don't think so and it's not required...if your intention is to watercool this card, forget it and just get a 980.

Well, it's not right now, but i just consider that after i'm done with all the upgrades i could waterdool my whole system, it's not the priority and by any means dealbreaker, just somethink that i thought about and i would like t know if i have this possibility.

look at EK to see if they have a compatible waterblock for this card, i'm not sure...i wouldn't think so...it might be available in the future.
