Yeah and i hope a the card i buy will do that aswell :-)

Most likely it will....most will last a few years, but people like to upgrade often when its not needed

maybe switch to nvidia...idk sell my r9s to get 1 980( power bill has gone up a bit too much to keep them and my birthday is coming in 23ish days) maybe learn to OC because even after 6 months of having this rig i still haven't bothered with it

 

side note: i don't know the point of switching seeing as i move out of my house to college in Colorado for computer engineering in 8 months or so...

Get a new keyboard, a new 3DS, every amiibo on Earth, build a new system with a full custom loop in a H440, buy a 500mb ssd, visit Sicily, write a lot, enter the AIST (Italian Society on Tolkienian Studies), learn C++.

To get my 4790K to 5.2 stable....(dreaming)

push my 290X lightning beyond any other....( isnt that what its made for?) and buy another for CF (can you say BEAST!!!)

try OC'ing my RAM (never did it, dont laugh)

Resurrect my Athlon 7850 system

Buy an M.2

Build my first water cooling rig

Push my G3258 to the point of melting

And...this will be the hardest....sell/trash all the unused hardware collecting dust on my bench

 

1) It's hard enough doing that on a Sandy Bridge processor. Good luck, pal. ;)

2)... Same here, good luck.

3) Make sure your RAM is made to be overclocked. there is no thermal throttling on RAM. If you push it past its specs it WILL burn out, and possiby catch fire.

4) Sounds like a plan

5) ...why?

6) Now THAT's fun. You'll need one for 1).

7) Ours is an expensive hobby... :)
