Razor switch? Do you mean Razer switch? As in the Kailh switches... or do you mean scissor switches?

Anyways, here's a cheap mech keyboard under $100 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823201061

MX Browns are good all-round.

Here is one with reds if you want linear switches - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823201073&cm_re=cherry_keyboard-_-23-201-073-_-Product

Both come in your choice of red or blue LEDs

You're thinking of the Topre keyboard made by Cooler Master. That's well over $100.

Even though alot of people hate em, I kinda like rubber dome switches. Thats why I use the Corsair Raptor K30.

Long time Linus fan with too many different forums to keep track of LTT's.

Yeah, you're thinking of the Cooler Master Novatouch. Sadly, those are twice of your $100 budget. (Topre switches are more expensive than Cherry ones in general)

One of you better bets might be something like the CM Storm QuickFire TK.

lets get a few thing strait

1) at this price range u should be getting a mechanical keyboard (perferably cherry due to its tested durability and outstanding build quality and testing)

2)ur choice of wat type of switch u want is yours to make

let just guide u through the type of switches (if u insist on razer they are similiar to cherry mx blue and brown switches)

if u want a tactile response and u dont care about how loud it is because u will be wearing headphones or whatever u do u should go with carry mx blues. these are probably the most famous switches cherry offers and are very well known

brown switches are similar to blues but they are silent and require a slightly smaller actuation force (45 grams)

red and blacks do not offer tactility but tend to be quite and are well known for how well they perform in gaming

mx clears are for only typing and tend to feel like a typewriter

mx greens are similiar to blue blues are heavier and can wear down ur hands after long sessions

mx oranges are uncommon but since i dont own a keyboard that uses these switches and fear that i might give u an incorrect description i reccomend u find someone else to give u their opinions on these switches

good luck :)

You should probably consider one of the main four Cherry switches. Red, Black, Brown, and Blue.

Clear and Green are tougher to find, you might have to spend a bit more to get one of those. And Orange... Well, I for one had never heard of it until just now. Looked it up a bit, and it seems a lot like a MX Black. However, it uses a different mount rather than the normal Cherry MX. I wouldn't bother with Orange ones.

If you're looking switches with a very smooth, and linear feel to them. Then check out Red's and Black's. Red being the lighter one, Black the stiffer.
