Shouldn't be a price. From what I read, this is the DLC content that will be included with the next update. Unless I missed it somewhere...

The dream pack isn't free.

i think i take sim racing too far (well did before selling my g27...but have another older wheel in storage i may drag out) i sit there with my sparco racing boots on, and my racing gloves.. just adds to the experience!! i used to race years ago and i really is it, so this is as close as i can get!

 

I also sit in mine with my boots on, don't wear the gloves though :P :P 

Dunno how you can stop racing, god I craving my next race !

You are only taking it too far if you have a helmet and a racing suit to go along with your gloves and your  racing wheel.

No it is not free and Kunos never said that.

The only thing Kunos said is that you will get a 50% discount if you preorder the DLC.

I'd be totally down for an LTT AC lobby. But like chaoz mentioned, could be tricky to get everyone available at the same time.

 

Recording laps could work, I'm just not very familiar yet with how to record and edit gameplay footage (something I've been meaning to learn and start doing for quite some time now... :P ).

I think an Assetto Corsa server needs a lot of upload bandwith but not so much CPU power.

 Shift 1/2 weren't that bad; yes, the last game Slightly Mad Studios released was in 2011 but PCars has come a long way in terms of physics, graphics, and gameplay as well as include features that are rarely seen in most of the competing modern offerings (functioning MoTeC race dash, true multi-discipline career mode, day/night cycle with variable weather, which I might add is much improved from Shift 2). As you can imagine, SMS has gone through nearly 1,000 builds during those 3 years and while not all tracks / cars will make it onto the final release, the community has definitely helped refine those that are popular. Like AC, PCars already has a pretty good league-based system but not to the extent of iRacing.

 

 

Lastly, while it is no secret that the game is still buggy in the current state (4 weeks before release), you can bet it's a heck of a lot better than it would have been at it's initial release date.

Only problem with AC (and Project Cars) are the AI cars. They just try to go through you when you're in the way and most of the times they nudge you off the tracks. 

 

Still waiting on that Nurburgring track and the Lamborghini cars though.

There is already a very good Nurburgring mod for AC if you're interested. Can easily find it with a google search. ;)

 

And yeah, I agree, the AI is as dumb as a stump. lol.  I find myself racing a lot more in multiplayer though, where the other cars are real people.

The rfactor2 AI is good and the Assetto Corsa AI in 1.1 will be improved.
