CS GO is extremly easy to run.

that would get  probably around 100 fps, maybe more.

all i know is on my 650 ti boost with it maxed out at 1080p i get 60+ fps, i havent really check the exact amount because it never bothered me.

I think pentium with a 970 would be much better. It's csgo...you don't need an i5. And you could always get one later if you wanted to play something insanely demanding that did need it.

You will see great FPS in CSGO, right around the 200 mark at all high @1080p. If you are a low setting player like I am then well over 300+ in comp games

Fraps is a lot less accurate than the in game one. Fraps for me says I get 40 FPS, DxTory says around 60, in game with net_graph says I get 100+. lol

1. People saying "oh change ur processor and get a better gpu cause cs go doesn't need i5" are clearly STUPID (srry to say but:) get ur facts straight. Cs go is based on Source Engine which is HEAVILY cpu based and not GPU. This build would get around 150 min 200 avg 270 max or even more maybe 300 because u have the i5-4690K. In jackfrags pc build he has the same gpu but a different cpu (amd-fx 6300) and u've planning to get i5-4690k which is much better. He got around 150-250 so u might get like 150-300 ON MAX SETTINGS 1920 x 1080.

2. Here's JackFrags video incase u don't believe me! Go to : 2:49 - 3:34 / 21:19 - 23:08. (REMEMBER HE HAS FX-6300)

3. If you need any more help, please feel free to ask :)

So what you are saying is that I would get around 150-300 FPS in CS:GO with the build I linked?

Is the gpu the same but diffrent names?

Yes I guess so. I think you will get 150-300, because as you may or may not have been seeing; the build he shows of in the vid gets 150-300 (approx) and you'll have a better cpu than the cpu he includes so u should be able to get more DW :) and it doesn't really matter which brand it is.. asus, msi, gigabyte its all good except like palit etc unknown rebranders i suggest u choose smth like msi, asus, gigabyte etc :) and you have gigabyte so don't worry. Plus; if you don't get the 150-300fps ( if i'm wrong (which I'm 95% sure I'm not) ) then you can always overclock your cpu because it has a K in its name which unlocks overclocking and also your gpu has an X which also means you can overclock! DW bro you're gonna get more fps than expected :)

Thanks man you have really helped me on this more then most people, i think I have a good idea now on what I want

Just a quick question if I do get around 150fps could I overclock to increase my fps?

Do I need a cpu cooler to overclock?
