Thief is currently 75% off on Steam and I was wondering if it was worth getting? I haven't played any of the previous Thief games.

Not an Epic uber game But, depends on you. it's good, should be a good buy since it's off by 75%...

its pretty good IMO

not the kinda game you want to keep on playing... it's not a bad game, but it's just so boring

If you prefer the sneak around method I've heard and read that it's a decent titles. In games where I can either sneak or blow stuff up loudly, i'm definitely not quiet lol. Just depends on your  play style. .

Since you are new to the Thief franchise, there is no tall order that the game has to meet (but can't) so you are better off than me.

Gameplay is broken up by lots of loading screens and the window opening QTE's are mildly annoying since you go through so many of them over the course of the game.

I think it's worth the 8 bucks though. 

This is LTT. One cannot force "style over substance" values & agenda on people that actually aren't afraid to pop the lid off their electronic devices, which happens to be the most common denominator of this community. Rather than take shots at this community in every post, why not seek out like-minded individuals elsewhere?
