I don't know if there is a certain place you are supposed to build computers, but I mostly do mine In the kitchen for more space xD

Where do you build your PC's?

I used to build my in the kitchen, but since getting a really big desk, I now do it in my room on the desk.

Wherever there's room.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Also, on a side note:

do any of you think it is 100% necessary to use a static wristband?

I've built 4 computers so far, and during none of them have I worn one, however I was not in a static environment.

Would any of you recommend using one for future builds just in case?

Do you wear wool socks and run around on a thick carpet while building your PC? No? Then you don't "need" an antistatic wristband. It's obviously recommended simply because it can't hurt to wear one, but it is not a necessity. Just ground yourself once or twice while building it. I build my PCs in the living room on a simple table, nothing fancy here.

I build them in my room on my desk, don't need someone to walk by and pick a part up or touch some screws and randomly lose it or what not.

Most of us don't use a static wristband, untill the day you actually "FRY" something because of static electricity :D

That's how it usually goes, with everything. You're like meh nah don't need it, won't happen to me. Until it does, still waiting for it to happen to me.
