California Headphones Silverado?

So i was thinking of buying a pair of California headphones off amazon for $50. i just wanna know if anyone knows anything about these particular or about the company as a whole. 

I own a pair of Razer Kraken pros, and they sound really good (to me at least), but they have a lot of bass. I like to listen to some rap and even a little dubstep sometimes, but i also like rock and some more heavy genres. I've read nothing but great things about these headphones and i hope some of you could enlighten me just a little more.

@ShearMe has a review of them, and people tend to say they sound really good with rock. ( I believe it's what they're designed for )

 

They kickstarter'd to get "started" I believe.

For $50 though, it's a great deal.

The only negative about them is the cable, but at least it is replaceable.
