No, barely any, definitely not worth the money.

Save up for broadwell or skylake.

Barely any improvement, if you have 200 dollars and want to increase performance you should invest in a new GPU :)

it's the same cpu that is just unlocked and slightly better thermals. You will see no difference at all.

Just for gaming really I have a 980 already do you think it's going to handle Witcher 3 on 1080p?

yes, fairly easily as im sure it will be a good port.

I wouldn't upgrade from a decent quad core to another quad core.

To me an upgrade has to be at least 1 step above what you already have. Such as going from a quad core to a hex core.

EDIT: but it's still a lot cheaper to buy a better CPU that's on the same platform as your current one.

If your purpose is to get into video editing, rendering and all that stuff then get and i7. But this comes to your own experience, you're the only one who can say if it's fast enough for what you do

Only for gaming purposes I mean that's all really I don't know it will able to handle Witcher 3

If you have a 980 with a 4670, than you shouldn't even be worried at all.
