gaming on windows 10 TP

hello

 

i dont have the money to buy a legal windows 8 copy

would it be save to instal the windows 10 technical preview and use that

(i have it running in VM now and i think it is stable engough to do but i want your opinios to)

Don't be doing anything important on it, use Ubuntu for that if you can, and back up everything regularly

its my daily driver, and ive not had any problems apart from a couple of hiccups with Wi-Fi but that's easily sorted. but apart from that go for it

Windows 8.1 is like 20 bucks on G2A.com. Its a lot more affordable then what Microsoft is asking, and for the same product.

 

As for your idea, you may have a few issues, with some drivers or hardware, but nothing bad. I would make a separate partition first to make sure you don't run into any major problems, and then if your all good, install it on the whole drive.

They sell the same, legal copy. They give you a real product key.

A real key, yes, but quite often they're volume license keys ripped from MSDN subscriptions.

Really? Never knew that. I had a smooth transaction with my purchase and havent experienced any issues yet
