Gtx 980 max settings 60fps plus. And it does look very good...but i hate ubisoft.

Quite odd, 980's don't even touch 60FPS maxed out.

well i'm maxing it here.

Edit. Only using 2x aa through nvidia control panel as thats what i use in every game. So weather in your mind that's classed as maxed i don't know.

I made the mistake of pre-ordering it. Now I'm worried about Far Cry 3.5. But yeah, "next gen console"? I'm afraid 18 fps is unacceptable for these "next gen consoles". However, I read somewhere that playing offline fixes the fps. Also, Ubisoft is working to fix some of the bugs we've encountered.

Theres nothing next gen about "next gen" consoles.

I saw it get down to 18. How do console gamers live with this?

many console gamers don't really care about fps. Hence,buying a console.

Ah hah! so i've found out why everyone thinks that it's AMDs fault that the game is running so badly

 

It's because Ubishaft told them.

 

And the worst bit is: Everybody believes them. It's atrocious. The amount of gullible people willing to believe what Ubishaft of all people tell them!

 

Even though it runs rerribly on NVIDIA and Intel GPUs / CPUs respectively.

But 18 is just so low. Even a movie has a higher frame rate than that (motion blur yes yes i know) 

 

Even they must be able to notice that...

Most likely they do. It's just doesn't bother those folks like it does with pc people. Console people usually have much thicker skin.

"thicker skin"... or lower expectations. Having conversed with a number of console gamers (especially on youtube/google+) i'm inclined to believe the second, since i've seen many a console player rage and scream!

Well I really enjoyed Assassin's Creed III and it really didn't have any problems whatsoever. Pretty good storyline too. A lot of people may disagree with me on that, but people don't understand that I'm easily entertained. I figured that if I liked the American Revolutionary War in a game then I might like the French Revolution. I mean, I haven't touched the game yet...and I really don't want to until Ubisoft fixes all the bugs and the fps.
