 Dat square

The smart watch has an IP68 rating means that you can use your Sony SmartWatch 3  in dusty environments, when your fingers are wet, in some extreme weather conditions, in fresh (non-saline) water depths of 1.5 meters or less, in a chlorinated swimming pool (rinse after use). The IP68 rating means that the device can be immersed to a depth of up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes <_< .

Kinda late to the market & the design isn't too mesmerizing imo, What are your thoughts? Post your thoughts/comments & rants down below..

Such a step backwards considering they had one of the better looking watches up til now.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

I don't really find it very impressive, or good looking. I think this is too little too late.

I dont hate the look actually. Normally I don't like the square watch design. But this one gets a pass from me because it's a low profile design, except for that unnecessary gloss around the screen that sucks.

What's with the late with the square design lol? Now there are times to be late and avant garde when it comes to watch designs?

Square, oval and round designs for watches is something with probably hundreds of years... but sony came late with this. Cartier/Nike/and many other brands doesn't seem to mind them.

It's a smartwatch you can use to go for a run/hike/climbe/sports no matter the weather, you can take a shower without removing it... but they are late with the square design...

A ruberized smartwatch, like many other watches marketed for the sports/active life segment... but they are late with the square design...

Anyway, good for Sony for exploring this market before Nike or other sports brands. Square watches/smartwatches will keep existing since in such products they are timeless designs/standard designs. It's like the round shape is the new thing, it's the new wheel maybe lol.

Might consider this or the Moto 360.

If I get this its means I wouldn't have to worry much about damaging it etc as its rubberised and quite rugged.

It just doesn't look as good as a round watch. Yay for waterproof though.

Their smartwatch 2 looks way better than this, the good news is that soon the older smartwatch 2 will be on sale since this new watch will come out.
