WHAT IS THIS LOGITECH!?

"MOBA Gaming Mouse"

Are you kidding me right now?

On a serious note, I don't like the style of the mouse. Too many lights.

From what I can see, there's two things that jump right out. First one being the weird LED mesh thing on the sides. That's ugly as hell and looks like it's metal or brushed plastic, which means it's going to slippery to boot. Other than that, the top view of the mouse shows that it has a very, very thin bottom. If this is Logitech's upgrade to g100s, it's a very disappointing upgrade.

I am also wondering about the choice to do a "MOBA" mouse before an upgraded version of the G600. Granted, LoL is a very, very popular professional game (making the "pro gaming" advertising a cinch), but the combined amount of players in MMOs gives them the largest market. Not to mention that the G600 and Razer's Naga actually make proper sense for the game, instead of this thing. A "MOBA mouse" that amounts to what? A good sensor in a small, light chassis?

I own and use, sorted from newest to oldest: SteelSeries 6Gv2. Microsoft SideWinder X4. Mionix Naos 7000. Zowie EC1 Evo. Microsoft SideWinder X8. Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. Dell U2414H. Samsung P2270H. AKG K273 Pro. Sennheiser HD555. Razer Goliathus Speed Medium. Func 1030 L. Qpad CT Medium.

I used to own: Razer DeathAdder 3G. Razer Krait. IntelliMouse Optical 1.1. SteelSeries QcK.

in my opinion, keyboard buttons are typically superior for buttons. You can't fit mx cherry or topre or buckling spring on a mouse. If the omron switches on mice were as good, you would have keyboards with them. It seems like the desire to have more then 2 buttons on the side is a casual trait. Like Zowie's mico was heavily developed with Startale Moba players and has no side buttons.

One feature of this mouse that i think is pretty interesting is they are using metal springs on the switches of the rmb and lmb. I'm very curious how that ends up effecting the feel of the clicks. But i'm not going to buy it simply because of the low max speed and i'm primarily a low sensitivity fps player.

Also, the mouse isn't that lightweight. I think its 87 grams not including cable, which is just like 2 grams lighter then the zowie fk1 and roccat kone pure military. Its still a bit heavier then the logitech g100s, or the razer abyssus or the ninox aurora.

No mouse is made for mobas, lol.

Well if it is capable of flight and superluminal velocity like this one clearly appears to be then it could physically zoom over to the opposition and smash them in the side of the skull thus rendering them unconscious and possibly seizing if not totally obliterated from the impact.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.
