Posted October 26, 2014 I'm still rocking an i5 2500k, and in the near future i'll have SLI 970s. Posted October 26, 2014 The 2500k is still a very capable cpu when oc'ed. You should be fine. Your system looks fine--don't see much of a need to upgrade. Posted October 26, 2014 I don't think it will at all, also there are no CPU's on LGA 1155 that are better for gaming. Core i5-2500K and Core i7-2600K are pretty much equal in games.
