Should i get a better 1155 CPU, or upgrade mobo and cpu?

I'm still rocking an i5 2500k, and in the near future i'll have SLI 970s. Firstly, how bad do you guys think the bottlekneck is with the 2500k, and secondly what would you do to upgrade this rig?

The 2500K is still an awesome CPU, there's no need to upgrade and there won't be a bottleneck.

The 2500k is still a very capable cpu when oc'ed. You should be fine.

Your system looks fine--don't see much of a need to upgrade.

I don't think it will at all, also there are no CPU's on LGA 1155 that are better for gaming. Core i5-2500K and Core i7-2600K are pretty much equal in games.

All of Intels new stuff is unworthy of the switch.

Keep your 2500K.

2500K is still capable for doing anything today. just wait and see for Broadwell about it's performance and power consumption compared to previous generation.

2500K is great! Even slick has a 1155 CPU (2600K I think) but in games it won't make a difference
