DAMMIT YOU BEAT ME!!! I honestly have to say I'm extremely excited though. I tried custom resolutions using the Control Panel a few weeks ago and it just doesn't work well. I was expecting them to carry it over eventually but I didn't expect such a fast turn around. Got 6 mins left until the drivers downloaded. So happy, lol

Is it just me or does it make everything blurry? It's pretty bad at 2715x1527 and then down-scaling from 4k not only is the entire image blurry, icons hard to see etc. any text becomes basically unreadable.

Try lowering the 'DSR - Smoothness' setting. Depending on how the game is made, some UI elements might shrink and become hard to read.

Dark Souls 2 was excellent for the most part. Only really noticeable change was the damage text getting really small. I also tried World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and they both didn't like DSR at all. The UI elements got shrunk or squished to crap.

I can't even find this setting.

Should be right under 'DSR - Factors', the one you use to enable DSR.

im waiting on a card that will do 4k resolution @ 100fps, that way i wont need a new card for at least 4 years as the only games i play @ 1920x1200 is MMO/RTS the FPS i play CS and DOD i still play @ 1024x768 so maybe 2016 will be the year i upgrade

I really like the technology, it helps you get the best out of your GPU even if it's absoluteley overpowered. My 970 does Bioshock infinite on 2xDSR for example. :D But i am glad to see that even my old 580 will get the technology. :D

who cares...

That wont really work, as once that card comes out, we will be looking at 8k gaming, and VR and will have even more demanding games

Why do you play at 1024x768?

Been using the custom driver to get DSR for a while. My native res is 1440p and anything but 4x DSR looks absolutely terrible, is this just me?

Lol this is an absolute joke.

So i installed the custom mobile driver and still couldn't enable DSR with SLI on.

So i went ahead and unplugged the DP for my ROG Swift and the DSR option appeared with SLI on...

Yup DSR currently does not work with SLI + G-Sync.

I also have the Swift and I tried everything clean install and nothing. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

Was reading the EVGA forums, this was reported 3 weeks ago and somehow it's still overlooked by Nvidia.

Took so long to get this driver only to end up like this...

I know right.... I guess not enough people have a G-Sync monitor to make it a "priority".

Funny since they're pushing G-Sync everywhere, invested tons of money into it, yet they can't even properly support it to make it compatible with the rest of their products and features.

Tried it out just now!

Very interesting:

1. it works even better than manual mode, i was able to play some games at 4k, but setting 4k manually did not work well on my 1080p monitor  before this driver update

2. animations look amazing, but i saw bit of blur when reading text in games, so i might have to setup sharpness of the monitor and see if that helps any...

3. i tried it i dota 2 and i have mixed feelings about this, the max resolution was 2715x1527, and my system did over 80 FPS in the game, but it is not smooth, even at 1080p i have huge fps, but the problem is screen tearing, now at dsr 80 fps there is almost no tearing but i can see the frame latecy, it is like i can see a very fast slide show, like micro stuttering, it might be that my gpu can't really handle it

4. none of the problems above happen when i use dsr to render at 2560x1440, so for 600 users i would suggest to keep the res up to 2.5k

That's all from me!

Oh yeah and ty nvidia, it has some problems but i really love the features!

EDIT:

Just finished a 2 hour 4k dsr Diablo 3 run, it is awesome, works, even better than Dota 2, no stuttering, so it must be a game problem not DRS!

..fair enough

Find it strange that you cannot adapt to a new resolution, in the last year alone I have gone from 24" 1200p to 27" 1080p (this was bad) now to 27" 1440p,

How come each time you upgraded your PC/Monitor you did not update your CS settings?

it was years before i ditched CRT and when i bought that its top res was 1280x1024 but when i tried it didnt like it so just went back never changed. ill probably be using this res till i die even when 16k comes out which is a kinda pointless res unless your using insanly large screens
