my favorite number is the exponential, or e because we don't truly know what the numerical value of e as it is just an estimate of the value where e^x is the nonzero function who is it's own derivative.

this number we take for granted enables us to solve quite complex equations in higher level maths that would otherwise be impossible.

as much as you might hate the number e, it is my friend.
