Looks like the effects of a pinhole adapter. I personally am not interested in it because I don't think the will be wideangle and telephoto capabilities.

Those images look really bad.

 

Someone already did something like this, and I can't remember the name of it, but it's a little rectangular prism shaped thing and you can pick the focus area in post.
