man on adrenaline rush vs chimp

Phoenix70

Humans are endurance hunters. We out-live and stalk our prey, rather than fight them head on. At most, a human on an adrenaline rush would be able to escape, possibly critically wound the chimp, but would not be able to kill unless extremely lucky. Kinda like Superman vs Batman if Batman had no time to prepare

but all of that extra strength due to adrenaline and the techniques he knows...

dude come on, get it into your head. adrenaline can do amazing things and all but the way a chimps muscles are setup in their body they can create much more force. a chimp could pretty easily rip off your arm. dont forget chimps have adrenaline to. if the guy started attacking the chimp and posed a serious threat to its life(which you are saying he would) then the chimp would get the same rush and then the chimp again has a huge power advantage over the human.

chimps are smaller and can grab with all four limbs, they are used to swinging around tress all day and im sure they could do the same around your legs and get on your back before you could do much.

even if he was a boxer, the chimp isnt going to stand up and just start punching like a human, the chimp will fight the way it has adapted too, thus the humans techniques is useless unless he normally fights against chimps and is trained to do so.

the techinques the human knows will allow him to punch better.. also i do not think with that kind of a strength difference( remember, a woman was fighting and winning against a polar bear while on adernaline, imagine a 3 times stronger man) the chimp will have time..yes the chimp can grab you with all 4 limbs, but guess what, a gorilla can kill a chimp with 2 arms and with adrenaline you get even stronger than that.

like someone else said here, the women didnt win agaisnt the polar bear. she simply stopped it from killing her until someone had gotten a gun and shot it.

punching doesnt matter at all when your fighting a chimp, its not like a human. it wont stand up and go toe to toe throwing punches.

of coarse a gorilla can kill a chimp with 2 arms, a gorilla is stronger than a chimp, a human is not.

if that woman can hold her own long enough against a chimp, im pretty sure a trained man can do much better against a much weaker chimp. punches will really matter you know even if the chimp is tough especially when he is that stronger

Technically on adrenalin rush , a human being can be subjectively strong, there have been reports of even a woman who doesn't workout that much lifting up a car after the accident bruised all over in order to save her child, imagine a well trained man on adrenalin rush..

Forget that,  remember this guy & what he did on the movie?

Given the chimp is properly pissed off, no amount of adrenaline will help you.

Anger and adrenaline would help, but it has to focused and controlled otherwise the man would end up going berserk and all of his training would become useless, speaking as someone who had serious anger problems, anger helps but there has to be control, I think the man would stand a better chance with some adrenaline without going crazy, but no chimp would be hard to beat

Have you ever experienced a massive amount of adrenaline, there is a reason it is called the fight or flight drug, you either charge in without control because that is all you think about, the man's only chance would be wound or cripple the chimp early on when the adrenaline is helping through a relentless onslaught surprising the chimp, after not much time the chimp would find it easy to beat the man or the man would run away

well with that level of extra strength he could maim/cripple the chimp easily enough to make its adrenaline not that good... then it would be a sure kill (im pretty sure he could suffocate the chimp if his hands were severely damaged)

The thing is we have a lot of stength, enough to take down wolf and live ( at least in shape human males )

But the real kicker is humans are incredibly smart (even the dumb ones) and we could use a rock or fashion a spear out of a long stick and that would be more than enough to kill a chimpanzee with, if you get some vines and a Rock, A mallet hit square on the head would absolutely Destroy a chimpanzee.

Plus, could snap its neck if you could get behind it sneakily.

  • 3 weeks later...

It all depends. The reason why apes are stronger is not because they are bigger then us. It's because they activate 100% of their muscle when attacking. Humans, our brain only allow us to activate about 33% of our muscles in order for us to pick up or thread small things without crushing it. That's why people who give gorillas pet kittens end up getting the kitten killed from being pet too hard by the gorilla. They don't have the control needed to be gentle. Now the only time humans brain "allows" us to use 100% of their muscles, like an ape is during an life threatening situation (fight or flight). This is how a Grandmom was able to lift a car off of her grandchild during an accident. So back to the fight. If a human is on adrenaline rush for ten minutes strait, he does stand a chance against an ape, expecially if the humans offspring is involved. Not only is the human as strong as the ape during a rush, we are smarter. A adrenaline rushed Bruce Lee would kick the head off pa ape due to the knowledge of knowing a kick has a longer reach. Plus Bruce lee was unbelievablly strong. And that was only 33% of his muscles being use.

there is also the story where a woman wrestled a polar bear and a man lifted a truck.. you sure mate?

It is not like adrenalin is this magical juice that makes your limbs harder to rip apart. That would most certainly the chimp's tactic.
