I'm Planning a new build and I have started assembling the parts. one of the parts i am keeping from my current rig is an Asus Strix r9 390 and i looking into modding the side Strix lighting feature (as seen here) so that it is always on instead of breathing. I plan to run a cable from the card to an adapter linked to a molex connector from my psu. watching a disassembly of a gtx 980ti strix i see the led connection is in the bottom right side corner(when looking at card face on) so i should be able to easily route a new cable to it.   6. the s340 doesnt come with an acrylic window. mnpc tech is releasing a all acrylic milled window that i might pick up
  7. you could get a 140mm aio and mount it up top. that would better fit your budget

  12. for my recent build i bought my cables off of ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/modpcuk?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 thats the store i got them from. wide vareity of cables and colours and they dont cost much compared to other places the cables youll want are the 8pin cpu, 24 pin mobo, and 6 and/or 8 pin pci-e cables.
