Posted October 2, 2014 R4 was the biggest let down in an overhyped case I've owned. cheap plastics in the front, thin metal on the roof that flexed when nothing was mounted, paint chipped super easy just undoing screws on the white ver at least. My Fractal PSU also coil whines, but the original and RMA'd replacement. If you couldn't tell, I feel burned by Fractal Design and question the unwavering favoritism. Posted October 3, 2014 I have the r4 so i'm going to say take the r4. I do know that the h440 is a great watercooling case too. I personnaly picked the R4 because I liked how it looked and I feel like the white touches are great. 1 thing I dislike is that the front panel does not open on the "right side" and the door is not reversible. Posted October 3, 2014 Arc Midi R2. I've worked in all of those cases, I still freaking LOVE my arc midi r2 the most. The R4 is far too plain in appearance, although aesthetic is subjective, the Arc Midi R2 looks a ton better, can still be really quiet, and has much better airflow. Posted October 3, 2014 Enthoo, Arc, H440. Also, Gigabyte or Asus for the 970 IMO. The STRIX beats Gigabyte in aesthetics (IMHO) and can be OC'd to match it too.
