GTX 970 SLI or GTX 980 (or GTX 980 SLI)

Hi, i'm currently running a GTX 680 but it's just not enough for my demands annymore (triple monitors 6020x1080).

Now with the release of the new nvidia gpu's I'm thinking about upgrading.
At this moment i'm mostly looking at Dual 970s or a single 980.
I might even get dual 980s for future proofing if it's worth the extra cash.

For a triple monitor setup go for the 970's in sli

After looking at Techpowerups benchmarks of 970 sli it looks like a pretty good option, also cause the 970s run very cool they shouldn't be overheating in sli.

What do you guys do to afford these expensive GPUs, rob a bank or sponge off your parents? Neither of those is a good option.

Get a job? Anyone can afford it if they can save money. It also depends on how you prioritize your spending.

I guess my comment is aimed more towards 14 years and down. Not many kids at those ages have $500+ saved up or even have a job.
