Why didn't Ron Paul ever do this?

Probably because he like other politicians thinks that the american people would react badly to it. I for one would vote for a candidate that got up there and said

I'm not currently working, and everything in your country is more expensive because of socialism, so if we made the same amount of money, I'd still have more.

Your education must not be that good, because your healthcare isn't free. Everyone else who has a job is paying for it via higher taxes, and when/if you have a job, you are paying for it every single time you get a paycheck/pay your taxes. Try more propaganda please.

 

Nothing in life is free. I am poor, but I don't go crying to everyone else for handouts in the form of socialism, I'm going to school on a loan, and when I get out I'm going to make my own way in the world. I am not entitled for everyone else to pay for my broke ass, how do you socialists not get that? You should be ashamed that everyone else has to pay for you.

Yep, but I DO make more money, on average at least. Not to mention costs saved on everything that "socialism" covers you for. My yearly hospitasl insurance is 25 euros and I payed 5 euros for a dentist appointment last week. Also the antibiotics I'm taking are free.

 

I will take my situation over yours any day buddy, you can do the same, I don't mind :)

Unless you're making more than the average, and quite a bit more, things ARE cheaper. Only the rich are in any way inconvenienced by this sort of system, the lower wages effectively get more money through benefits. And the rich, frankly, don't need it.
