Air 540's are amazing

Commander_Z

So i ordered my Air 540 last Friday, and it arrived yesterday

I tell ya, Videos and photos don't do this case justice.

It's bigger than what i thought it would, but in a good way

The space inside and behind the mobo tray is massive, so some awesome cable management can be achieved here.

my Z97-A and H100 fit really well inside, and I can wait to finish the build in the near future hopefully

For now, here's some pics I took

It was my second choice honestly, but the enthoo primo won.

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

I like my air 540 but it has it's problems. Like the stupid HDD sleds underneath the GPU's. Those should be fan mounts. Also the case makes my Matx motherboard look that much smaller, which is why I will be upgrading to dis

So umm where would you put your HDDs then?

Also its a atx case so that's just kinda assumed. Maybe look at the air 240?

I did, I can't remember what but there was something about it I didn't like. Although the 240 has alot better drive mounting implementations than the 540, like that thing in the back above the PSU and whatnot.

Yes I agree but it has worse fan support when using mATX in it than desired (for me).

What? I haven't had any issues with fan support using my mATX board that I didn't have with my previous ATX board. Most motherboards don't support the number of fans this thing can hold.

The three fans in the bottom of the Air 240. Any MB with PWM can control just about as many as you can put in. I have 14 running off my X79-Deluxe.

Yes, the bottom.  I got rid of the two drive swaps on the bottom for 2x140mm.  Was kind of a pain but worth it in the end.  Check out my photo.

Its an amazing case its just a shame its this wide... :( I haven't got a place on my desk where I can place this where I can see it and doesn't cost me a lot of desk space.

However if I'm ever going to build a microATX system it will be in a 240.
