And Here is the CPU I will be getting with the lowest voltage choices possible, the moment that it is available from them I'm buying it. Defiantly worth it for a 8-Core CPU that can do 4.7Ghz and near stock voltage.

You will propably pay a nice premium for a cherry picked 5960X but this CPU @ 4.7 or 4.8GHz will obliterate mine all day long.

Yeah its a 300$ premium buts its worth its because the only test it for that speed so there is more potential for it to be pushed even further then that 4.7 they have listed.

Yeah imagine to be able to push one of these with the right custom watercooling up to 5.0GHz... what a significant advantage!

Well I could do that if I wanted to but the MC doesn´t mean you get hands on a good sample. If you get one that just OCs to 4.3 or 4.4 you will get eaten alive and then the 8 core CPU is not really beneficial.

Yeah this premium is hard but if I was to buy a 5960X I´d probably go with a cherry picked unit that allows me to go as high on water as possible. If you check the benchmarks in the HoF you have to face the truth though... without LN2 neither one of us will ever be within the top 3 no matter what bracket it is.

Still you will get no way to make sure that you will get a good sample with another CPU. MC doesn not sell specific cherry picked chips this is a matter of luck.

I'll ask for a Costa Rica chip with the newest batch number. Guys in Philly are usually pretty cool about doing it for me if I slip them a 20

My 5960X will do 4.8ghz or die trying

Or maybe just not go up to 4.8 ;). 1.55V is the limit of the mainboard and with sufficient watercooling you won't kill the chip, just not see the highest OCs :). But good luck anyways.

Remeber Haswell and Haswell-E have CPU Input voltage always set that to 1.95v first before messing with the core voltage and you might find some hidden potenital like I did this morning with my 4770k (Stressing for 4.8)

Not for long though then ;). The Titan is around the corner and even with 4 GTX980s (if that´s still your plan) you won´t be able to beat me with the 3 Titans and my 5960X ;).

Your score for 2 cards is very good though something is odd... and it´s not just the CPU. I assume the 2nd card doesn´t go that high otherwise you would be already within the Top20.
