no way I'm 20 and I'm perfectly familiar with both the NES and SNES. Even if I wasn't into video games nowadays, I always played on the (S)NES at my friend's back when I was in elementary.

I'm disappointed. My children (assuming I find a George Foreman) will play the NES until they can beat Kid Icarus with their eyes close and then I'll let them into the casual world of modern consoles.

im 22 and i seen it in pics and read about it but ive never really held one.

 

my first console was the snes and that is a 6 year gap between both launches. most of them grow up on playstation and n64.

I've never watched a single FineBros video, maybe it is because I don't give shit how teens, kids, old farts or dogs react to whatever but I think the biggest reason is their video thumbnails. They are repulsive.

 

Here's an advice from me to all you young aspiring Youtubers out there, make sure your thumbnail picture catches people's attention because they are the biggest reason why I watch a video.

Here in ex-Yugoslavia the lucky ones MAYBE had a Spectrum... Consoles? Yeah right. I can almost 100% say that 0 NES were sold here (they might have been smuggled into the country though)

Why should everyone know some console? As if it's the most important thing ever.

That may be. But these people don't come from there, so they are more likely to have heard or seen one of the consoles. Not only that, but they have access to the internet. They are able to find out about the system. Also their parents could have had one and maybe still do.

The first time I heard of the NES was when I first started using the internet and even then it's only 'heard about it', I definitely wouldn't know how to use one (though I could probably figure it out, like the kids in the video). For you it probably seems natural since that's what you grew up using/seeing, but many people have never even heard of it because they were born so long after or they simply live in an area where they didn't have them. So how can you call those people morons because they didn't go out of their way to research a console released long before their birth and which they probably don't care about anyway.

I am 18, I never grew up with them, my first console was the original Xbox, I only knew of their existence because my friend's father had two. Heck, the majority of people I knew would have heard about one and one or two may even have one from their parents. The only Nintendo products I have are the SNES and the original Game Boy. I wasn't saying that you should know about it just because it existed. You know about it because of the internet. On top of that,  I am not calling them morons because they don't know what the console is. It is the kind of person that show brings on, one that doesn't actually represent the majority of the their age demographic. You also need to remember that these people are from the US. The likelihood of them seeing a NES would have been quite a bit higher than Europe.
