a 750 watt would leave a good ammount of room for upgrades, but a 600 watt will be just fine

http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp please make sure you search the forum before asking a question, there are hundreds of threads like this one that get posted every day and the answer is always the same. Also, an R9 280x would be a better choice of gpu, it's cheaper and usually faster.

Definitely this^. More is not always better but, when you have a 770 and a new generation coming up, once 770s are 200$ oh boy, you'll be tempted to get that second bae.

That is true, the performance is pretty much the same. Just make sure you're not getting a z97 board for no reason, you'll be good with anything87.

Gaming usually ever takes advantage of hyperthreading. The games you have listed are an example I believe.

Apart from games, even if the system does take advantage of the i7 extra threads, it won't be that noticeable, only slightly faster.

The money you saved with the i5, spend it elsewhere like on a better GPU :) or more storage!

Good luck!
