well the sound drivers could not be installed

If the sound driver is missing, it should either:

- Use a windows' legacy audio driver or

- Goes berserk about 'found a hardware, but couldn't find the proper driver', even without any devices plugged in to the 3,5mm jack

Have you tried multiple ports and different computers to be sure it's not the headset at fault?

I've tried yeah, and on my old pc everything worked fine :S

but it might be a problem with the headset since if i google the error its very common and idk how to fix

Check "device manager" might yield some useful information. Had a similar problem with a mouse, and it had to do with a driver, possibly the same is happening here.

Calm your tits. Rarely is someone available during the day to answer responses immediately.

Does that mean you looked at device manager or not? Even if no drivers are installed it should be listed under something like "unknown devices"

There are no drivers installed for this device.

Some more things to troubleshoot:

-Check for windows updates

-Try a Linux live CD to see if it's your operating system

-Try updating your chipset Drivers

-Try updating your USB drivers

-Set Windows to 'Performance' power settings

The fact that it's listed as 'unknown device' means windows 7 can't detect and install the proper working driver. This may be due to the driver is corrupted, too old, or not compatible with win7. Get a new proper driver, or get an analog headphone.

Try deleting the unknown device from the device manager, then plug the headset again in another USB port, if you have USB 3.0 and 2.0, use the 2.0.

Apparently there is also a firmware update for these headphones.

Mystery is the source of all true science.

Only other advice I have is to not repeat the mistake of buying a USB headset in the future.

Please stop bumping your post. If someone knew how to help they would have by now.

I researched it and then had a brain wave. The new motherboards and cpu's dont draw as much power from the power supply. That headset draws alot of power like an ipad does. So i hooked up my powered USB hub plugged that into the pc then headset into it. and it works. Also note that a powered usb port on a keyboard also works as i tried that next. Hope that fixes your problem as it fixed my friends.

Also set your power settings to high performance and make sure your USB suspend is disabled.
