I spotted the new asus x99 motherboard out in the wild!

Look at what I found at frys. They had it our out on display. It has 5 PCI-E 3.0 and supports upto 3100MHz ddr4 64GB! :D

 

I am going back tomorrow to get more info on the board... I MAY OR MAY NOT BUY IT AS IT IS FOR SALE AT THE STORE!!! :D

 

They also had some CPU's, they are advertised at around the same price as the E series right now!

I think it's just because DDR4 is going to be a lot of money, people aren't going to want 128GB's it'll be to much money.

No 4 way SLI. Maybe in 10 years, It is just some Asus Lure customers feature:D

guys that is Asus 5 way optimization UEFI

 

it the same as what the Z97 and H97 is using

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
