Good lubricant/oil for stabilizers on Quickfire Rapid?

Henry

So my quickfire rapid has had a squeaky backspace, shifts, and space bar ever since I bought the thing but I didn't know how to fix that problem until I saw this: http://support.coolermaster.com/entries/23637778-Fixing-Squeaky-Keys-for-the-Quick-Fire-Rapid

So what kind of lubricant/oil should I buy? I don't own any "light mechanical oil", and I don't think vegetable oil is gonna be very nice..

Folding for LTT since April 2016.

White lithium grease or silicon based lubricant works really without harming the plastic  and won't evaporate or dry out, also don't try vegetable oil, it will gum up and get all sticky.

any oil will work as long as you dont saturate it. speaking from experimental experience. Never tried vegetable oil but did use canola oil  ;)

Won't white lithium grease damage the plastic? Or am i thinking of silicon sprays

Is super lube good?

Lube in spray works for anything.

Lithium grease will not have problems with ABS and hard plastics unless there is rubber, if your worried I know silicon lube works really well since it's used for RC parts and used to help keep weather stripping pliable.

This stuff is pretty much safe for most applications and is thicker so it won't be runny like spray cans:

I just use cans of the Spray Cheese. It works great.

Seriously though. Silicone lube should work. DO NOT Lubricate the switches though. They already have lube and if you want to re-lube your switches, get the specialty stuff. I dont think Costar Stabs have any lube on them though.
