Hackintosh, need help choosing a motherboard

Snickerzz

EDIT~

basically from this list whats the best Z87/97 board for ~125$ http://www.tonymacx86.com/437-building-customac-buyer-s-guide-july-2014.html#motherboards

So I'm ready to upgrade my computer. I've always wanted to hackintosh but couldn't because of i'm currently using a AMD cpu.

Anyways I'm going to be upgrading the mobo and cpu. I've decided on the core i5 4690K (willing to change if needed). I can't decide on what motherboard I should get. I want one that overclocks, has at least 4 sata 3 ports, and I prefer ATX.

I want to dual boot with windows 7 if possible. and I want to be able to run mavericks and if its possible to predict now, yosemite.

I've picked out these three http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=-1&IsNodeId=1&Description=GA-Z97X-SLI&bop=And&CompareItemList=-1%7C13-128-713%5E13-128-713-TS%2C13-128-715%5E13-128-715-TS%2C13-128-714%5E13-128-714-TS&percm=13-128-714%3A%24%24%24%24%24%24%24

I'm open to suggestions but I want to try and stay under $125 USD for the mobo.

I'm going to be using everything from my current build except for the mobo/cpu of course.
-Phantom full tower case
-Biostar TA990FXE
-Phenom ii X4 965BE
-G.Skill (2x4GB) 8GB 1600mhz DDR3 ram
-EVGA SuperClocked GTX 660
-1TB WD Caviar blue hdd
-120GB samsung 840 ssd
-Asus dvd drive

For wifi I'm using a netgear wnda3100v2, If that isn't compatible can someone recommend me on?

Thanks icon_e_biggrin.gif

Also I should note i've never hackintoshed before, so the more friend the mobo the better

ASUS WS board? Such compatibility. IDK, I'll just say ASUS board because why not.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

ASUS boards are good but Gigabyte boards are perfect. Go on tonymacx86.com as their forum is for Hackintosh, but if you're too lazy:

I don't understand people that want a Hackintosh? Why ruin a perfectly good PC with a broken OS? I have been using OSX for the past 4 years I can I tell you now it is pretty awful, can run shit all games so you'll have to swap over to windows for that, has terrible folder accessibility and doesn't really look as nice in my opinion. Looks are the only thing that OSX has going for it and my opinion is that you'd be better off with Windows or even Linux. It is your choice after and I still respect you opinion. :)

Get what looks best and in your budget. They're really similar.

Yeah I can't argue Mavericks and Yosemite are pretty hot.

Thanks :D

What is important is the Chipset, Enternet controller, Audio controller (USB Bypass is always there) and the BIOS can cause issues. This is why Gigabyte boards are normally used since they have most of the requirments.
