Goldfish have a lifespan averaging about 10-15 years, with some varieties living up to 30 years when provided with proper care. Unfortunately, many goldfish do not reach their lifespan potential due to inadequate housing conditions.

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

no but reallies, it just depends, i had a fish i never took care of and it lived 2 years, where as my sister got 12 fish and 11 died within a week.... xD

fish can live a long ass time, fish in my pond (altho not goldfish or aquarium fish) are about 7 years old, and about 4 of the 12 have died

This fish is a Japanese Fighter and not a goldfish. The Japanese Fighter can live very long if cared for properly. Gold fish can love longer than 10 years if cared for properly.
