That is idiotic. Check your damn parts before you buy them!

Just fix your cables and return the cooler for an air cooler.

Take a dremel to the bottom of the 5 inch drive cages and remove the bottoms ones and you should be able to attach it there. 

muh specs 

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Zip-ties or twistie ties...which work just as well since they are reusable...as long as they don't get too hot.

zip ties are surprisingly heat resistant. I use them on hot parts of cars(nothing like the exhaust manifold, so don't get angry at me), he'll be fine I think. Twist ties, though they have a metal insert, depends on the material on the outside for melting.

I would say try to make it fit on top you can´t leave it like that... hurts my eyes :( . Actually you should get as well an exhaust fan for the back of your case... other than that the cable manage... wait I´d rather say cable salad should be reorganized ;).

The solution with the dremel seems like a good idea if you can´t fit it like it is on top.

Yeah there is definitely a lot more issues than just that. What I would do if you cant buy a new case (dislike cases with top mounted PSU's) is:

 

1) Remove that 3.5" drive rack. 

 

2) Mount the rad vertical in the front of your case (I assume a. its a 240mm rad and b. those are 2 120mm fans at the front). 

 

3) Slap a couple of large capacity drives in your 5.25 bays. 

 

4) If you dont have one add an exhaust fan

 

5) sort out that cable management. Looks like you have cable management grommets/holes in your mobo tray so put every you can behind the mobo tray and just run the cables you have to through the grommets to the mobo. Use twist ties or cable ties depending what you have around the house to secure the cables in neat bunches (again behind the mobo tray where possible).
