Just got another gift card from my school (this time for returning my equipment), so I decided to get this game since my mom has it for the fam's PS3 at granny's house, and (even though I'll have to grind to get the car again) I'll enjoy the shit out of it on the ol 360. unknown.png

I looked and for the Xbone version it's kinda like a big bloblike double-A deal that you put in.

(Hopefully the battery will last longer than the one for the 360 though, sheesh)

That's kind of dumb but probably cheaper to make.

I don't remember how long the 360 one lasted.  I've only used it a few times partly because I hated the extra weight it added to the controller but also because I mainly got it during what turned out to be a brief period of time where my idiot parents refused to buy me more AA batteries for my controller.

Not exactly.  ?

I mean I'd need a she first.  lol

I feel like I should add ick or something too.  Idk ask your wife what the appropriate reaction to that comment is.  ?

Initially I thought it was due to how the little door clips in but after lookin' at it for a few I realized that the only real concern might be the pins used to charge the pack getting snapped off or bent.

And don't get me wrong, the 360's pack isn't terrible (I tend to get at least 18 hours out of it) but after getting used to how long the Xbone controller lasts with normal AA's it just seems bad.

I was going to get Forza Horizon 2 as well since I didn't think shipping was going to be bad, but after tax + shipping just this game was 25.31... Like TF Walmart...

I haven't entirely made up my mind about it either.  I think I like it enough but I'm not 100% certain.

I'd love a Z270 motherboard with a blue color scheme though.

You know, i actually like their newer silver "Designare" boards, they look refined enough, very subtle design.

But in the modern motherboard design department, my favorites have to be the ones from ASRock's Taichi line, so well designed...

There was a Z170 Designare board that had some blue on it that I really liked.  I almost bought one even though I have no need for it but now I think it's gone.  They probably stopped making it around or shortly before Z270 boards showed up.

Not familiar with ASrock though sorry.

My new 1080 ti arrived today.

Though I'm confused why they felt the need to have a hole in the back of the box to see the serial number to match it to a second sticker on the box.

I'd prefer a box without a hole thank you EVGA.

Step 1: Cut a hole in the box.

They already took care of that - you know what you gotta do.

What's the efficiency level?  Bronze? Gold? Other?

The one in Vash has a blue led, but it fits the theme if you ever watched Trigun.

It's been many years but I don't remember much.  What does blue have to do with Trigun?

Vash and Knives are plants, not actual humans.  The plants live in a blue bong looking jars that are massive.  They give off a bluish glow, and they're used as power sources to power towns and what not.

Ah.  I never actually saw the series all the way through.  Hazard of watching on Cartoon Network.

Ordered some LED strips I've been wanting... I figured, why the hell not.  I can set them to whatever color I want.

Also, I've been wanting a 1080p webcam, and after I sold my Xbox One, I realized I've had one all along.  So I got a mount to mount it to the top of my Dell monitor, and the Kinect 2.0 adapter to use my Kinect, since I forgot to sell it along with the XOne.

Here we go, new case and cooler incoming!

I just got myself a Cougar Panzer Max, which i was thinking about getting since it launched, and a Scythe Fuma cooler, the first should arrive next week, but the cooler will take a little longer, something like a month (it comes from the UK). And no, i'm not gonna fill it to the brim with LEDs, maybe i'll put a white strip on the top, maybe...
