8/10 if you got another 780ti the psu wouldn't be as overkill and i'd give it a 9/10. the switch 810 is great for custom loops  :)

Sandy Bridge Core i5, has to be 10/10 :)

you should get an i5 there brilliant at overclocking even on fair bad motherboards and they don't make much heat.

9/10 for x79ness, raid 0 and triple monitors.

I'd give you a solid 8/10 for componants, 9/10 for the OC.  I'd say most of the "upgrades" aside from a GPU (which yours is still plenty good) are trivial at best: maybe another 8gb of ram and a bigger storage drive?  Good build.

Edit:

My system:

i7-4770k

asus maximus vi formula

corsair 750d, ax1200i and vengeance pro 16gb 1866

2x evga 780ti superclocked

samsung 840 pro 256gb

xstar 27" dp2710 1440p @ 110hz

I've overclocked the GPUs slightly (+75 core) but I haven't had the time or patience yet to OC it higher or to OC the CPU.  I do intend to get to at least 4.4ghz for a mild, safe OC since I'm current only air cooling (Noctua u14s)

10/10 can't fault that build, nice cpu, gpu' s, monitor etc, although a custom loop would be great in a 750d. i have a 7970 lightning to upgrade the 670 but i'm not allowed it till christmas day :( as for my oc, well i can run it higher, but the extra voltage isn't worth the performance so i only go higher for benchmarks

What I meant by 9/10 for the OC was a total system score.  I was saying that looking just at components I would have given you an 8/10 because the CPU is a bit dated, but in light of the overclock I'd bump that to 9/10.  I wasn't implying that your OC was lackluster, 4.8 is a very respectable overclock regardless of what chip you're using.  Just wanted to clarify since I guess I didn't word that very well.

Thanks for the comment on my build, I'm pretty stoked about it even though I've still got some work to do on it.  I considered a custom loop and had it all planned out but decided since I only plan on mild overclocks that I didn't want to hassle with the maintenance.  I might decide to install one down the road, but it was also an extra 5-600 dollars and I already went way over the original budget I was considering (I can afford it but I am normally a bit more frugal).

I've already been rated, so whoever posts please just skip me, I was just clarifying my post for Jumper...

8/10 for the dream build because some of your choices don't make sense to me, but I don't know what the builds purpose so, again, 8/10. Build in signature - PSU may seem overkill, but I'm upgrading to SLI 780s so I went with 860 watts

9/10. It be 10/10 if there were dual 780Ti's in the picture. And the dream build is ever-changing. Look at it now.

So I'll be rating the Dream PC : Good config, but the PSU is way overkill. And it lacks a little SSD.

Mine are below.

Desktop : i5 3570K@4.3GHz, ASRock Z77 Extreme 4, Sapphire R9 290, 2*4Gb DDR3 1866mhz, Intel 335 180gb, 2*1tb, all wrapped up in a Corsair Air 540 and fed by a Seasonic Platinum P760,  Windows 8.1 Pro
