An awesome slightly older PC, I'm guessing you upgraded and kept that as a server? I give it 8/10 since it's a bit old, but still definitely a beast server!

Indeed. When I was 14 or 15, I wanted a gaming PC but was still a little unsure of the ins and outs of computers... So I bought a Dell. Oh dear... That then got upgraded a bit at a time until I had the money to get rid of the dell and bought that computer. Then I just wanted more power, I mean, I'd had that computer for 2 years or so. I couldn't OC it above 3.84GHz and I wanted more power than it had. So, I upgraded. Now I just think I've spent too much and gone too far, but there are games which bring this beast to its knees.

7/10 poor videocard

3570k (cooled by Macho 02)

asus gtx 760 Cu II

Gigabyte z77 ud5h

Corsair Vengeance 2x8gb

Samsung 840 Series(Windows)

Samsung 840 Pro (OSX)

Fractal Design Define R4

7/10 without the second SSD... Haha! 0/10 with it. Buuut, that's just because I hate Apple and Mac OSX.

Nice rig, will game pretty well and will run nice and speedily. I'm surprised you gave a GT610 machine a 7!?!?

I've not got any more computers for you to rate, so you can have my mate's computer specs (which is sitting on my desk and has been since he built it... Haha!)

i7 3570k - Zalman somethingorother CPU cooler

2 x 8GB Corsair XMS3 1600MHz

AsRock Fatal1ty Pro/Champ (I'm not sure which)

XFX Modular 850W

2 x Samsung 830 64GB in RAID 0

2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM

2TB External (USB3)

MSI 7950 Twin Frozr III (maybe 2 or 4. I dunno)

All encased in a HAF X

Overall decent, needs a better cooler, SSD, and possibly more storage depending on media habits.

7-8/10 depending on if overclocking or not

7/10

A great value gaming computer.

+Overclocked CPU: Nice OC on a non-K CPU

+Overclocked GPU

+Brands of hardware parts are superb (e.g. MSI, Asus, Corsair etc.)

-SSD, I don't like that SSD (Personal opinion)

-Mid-tier CPU and GPU

Not sure if this counts since i'm building it around next month http://pcpartpicker.com/user/airtree/saved/24VL i changed it alot since my last post, this is what my final build is going to be.

9/10

A beast rig in the making.

+Everything looks great.

wow really..third time ive rated peoples rigs and no one has rated my rig...i give up. Also @Lil Chillbil your rig is fine, 6.5/10 not super powerful but i guess it gets the job done. WHy the 16gb ram? i doubt video editing rendering is a priority with a 3350p....

really?...cool. WHy not go for the i7 instead then....wouldnt the extra 100 dollars have been money well spent....most people opt for the i5 as the hyperthreading doesnt give them much gain in gaming...but ive seen hyperthreading half rendering times.....

the plan was stick with the ivy i5 for the rest of high school adding more ram and better gpu's faster storage etc. Then when I go off to college stick a brand new 2016 i7 board in the case with the money I saved on the initial processor that I put into the college savings (which covers room board and a new rig  :P )

cool i personally have 16gb of ram as it was such a damn good deal....if i bough these stcik now from the same retailer then it would cost me $91 more......my next pc is going to be pure performance, i will not even think about asthetics....just performance. dont care how thefans look or the mobo or the gpu.....i just wnat the best possible performance......i tried t make things look good with my current build spent a bit extra for the fancy looking stuff, the novelty dies down quick and the idea i couldve spen the extra pennies on something else steps in....
