SSD

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

If you've already got an ssd, your start up should be as fast as it can be without a PCIe drive. Unless Windows isn't installed on it.

PCI-E SSD would do the trick.

Is your current SSD not fast enough? You're boot times should be around 7-15 seconds.

SSD and RAM. Check how much RAM you use in day to day task. If you use 100% alot get more. SSD will speed boot time and application start.

List your specs, if you already have an SSD let's see what it is, and also the CPU/system memory config.

What about two SSDs in raid 0? Would that increase the boot time?

When you have two sticks of the same RAM running in dual channel the CPU can get better performance out of the ram than it would if it was just running a single stick.

msconfig > startup

most of that shit can be unchecked
