Altecice

Now before I go on I am taking this with a pinch of salt, but as said in the article 8pack has said a few times that the 290x is not the "FULL FAT" version. so who knows

Main Points:

290x

2816 stream processors (SPs)/44 compute units (CUs)

176 texture mapping units (TMUs)

64 raster operating units (ROPs)

290X+

3072 stream processors

unknown

unknown

10 per cent performance improvement compared to the Radeon R9 290X

It hasn't worked the year and a half this forum has been up, surely everyone knows that by now.

Why OP why?
~"Removed"
Above link was referenced within the article.
"290X is not full fat,” said 8Pack over at Overclockers.co.uk forums. “The Contingency is ready. As usual NDA stops me from saying very much. Yes, I do have more info but I can’t share it.”
This "Full chip" is DEAD wrong. As others have stated you just reposted this.

Weird, seems to work fine.

That search didn't bring up any of the large threads about the new cards and only one of those threads was even related to your search.
